The state of your carpet, for example, would be very telling. Carpets are prone to bacteria that could produce a stale odor. The same is true of rugs. Make sure that your janitorial service has professional carpet cleaning and rug cleaning expertise. They should be experts at spot removal for any stain, too. If your business site allows access to children and pets, this would be very important. Children and pets often have accidents causing various kinds of stains on rugs and carpets. Regular carpet cleaning and rug cleaning should keep them odor-free and looking pristine. Properly cleaned carpets and rugs have also been proven to look new longer, saving you from more frequent replacements.
Areas with no carpets and rugs must be kept just as clean. Whatever flooring materials are used, your janitorial service should be able to clean and maintain them so that they always look their best.
Even more important is the state of your upholstery. Remember that while your carpets and rugs stay underfoot, your upholstery comes into close contact with your customers and walk-in visitors who are prospective customers. Your janitorial service should also have excellent upholstery care skills, and this should likewise include spot removal for stains. Your company’s sofas and arm chairs should remain clean, fresh and free of stains.
