Dr. Dauphine has a good feel for people and what they can handle. When i was pregnant with my son people kept asking me how big my son was going to be. I asked the Dr. and she said "he will be as big as he is". Some might think that is rude, but the fact is this was my first child i was nervous about everything and my son was almost 10 pounds. She new that if she told me i was going to have a 10 pound baby i would have spent the last month of my pregnancy trying to figure out how he was going to get out. I had the best pregnancy and the best delivery because Dr. Dauphine did not let me get caught up in the all the things i ready and all the TV i watched. She made me feel like this is something that happens everyday and i was going to get through it fine. By the way that 10 pound kid came out with about 5 minutes of pushing. No stress delivery.
