Review content:
I went if for a visit after having extremely sharp pains in my right side for a few mths. History of Partical Hystorectomy due to endo when I was 24 after 4 years of trying birthcontrol and other harmone treatments. Dr diagnosed a cyst on right side and stated she would normally "put someone on birth control to supress the cyst but estragin feeds endometrois" which so told me had recured on both the left and right side this is what is holding cyst in place she said. So she gave me porgestron after a few weeks I wasn't feeling any better I was hurting daily by now. So they scheduled an ultrasound that had infact not found a cyst. Dr. Bullards nurse explains to me that it wasn't cyst but endo and they were calling in birthcontrol for me to take to supress.(remember she told me this would "feed" endo.). I questioned the nurse who said this is how we treat it. (again remember I have hystory). Call to schedule follow up to disguss other option because I can not take birthcontrol due to a neorological problem I have they could cause me to stroke so I wanted to disquss other option. The morning of my appt a nurse called "dr bullard wants to save you the trouble of a visit we can only treat you with BC pills. Again explained cant take them need other options. The nurse told me the doctor would not see me this is how she does it and it I am not willing to take the pills I will need to see another dr. Now I ask you should I take a medication that extremely raises my risk of stroke due to another illness from a doctor that will not even sit down and speak with me. I feel she is no more than a doctor that does breast exams, Pap smears and perscribes birth controll. I think she refused to see me because she new she was not equiped with the skills or knowledge to help me.
