Review content:
I grew up eating here, and EVERYONE in my family (even the in-laws who don't eat seafood or hate Chinese) LOVE this place. I LOVE that they've always cooked to order and have never gone "buffet" like all the rest. Mongolian Beef, Sweet & Sour Chicken or Shrimp, Crab wontons and the egg rolls are divine. Service IS slow, but you don't go here to rush through a meal...relax, take your time & enjoy food that is fresh, hot, and cooked just for you. They'll adjust recipes to suit your needs, too. The same family has run Sun Koon since the early 1970's, and they are really special people. My grandparents used to come down from Missouri each summer, and once my Mom took them here, they started sneaking into town an hour or so early to eat at Sun Koon before showing up at our house! I love Chinese food, and like the earlier reviewer, find most of it to be the same from place to place. But not one Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten in has beaten the quality or taste of Sun Koon.
