Businiess name:  Adeline Yoga Studio

Review content:
For years, I attended yoga classes at the gym - they were ok, but always so crowded and I always wondered if I was doing it right. I have been to yoga classes at different studios but it didn't really click til I found Adeline Yoga Studio. Iyengar yoga focuseson proper position through use of props (blocks, straps, chairs, blankets) so that students don't strain themselves and can advance without injuring themselves. I started going to a restorative class at Adeline Yoga studio because I had a neck injury (from sleeping too hard!) and Chris Williams made sure that the Restorative Yoga class helped rather than added to the problem. After just a few weeks, I noted a lot of improvement and reduction in my neck pain under his gentle guidance. Now, I take classes with several of the instructors there and have found that they are all very dedicated, kind and helpful in providing one-on-one adjustments during class. They are open to feedback on their classes and the other students actually talk to each other (unlike some studios where people seem super snooty). It's very down to earth and feels more like a community than any other studio I've visited. Another thing that I really like about this yoga studio is that it is really part of the community - it's on a busy street, and there's plenty of foot traffic past the studio - there are all sorts of thriving businesses including Sweet Adeline's Bakery, a church, a chiropractor, a bookstore, a marital arts studio, an antiques store and several convenient stores. It's not the quietest location but that's what I like - I feel like I'm really able to focus more on the asanas when I'm in a place with natural urban sounds compared to an unnaturally quiet suburban studio. Let the urban setting be your zen master! I highly recommend Adeline Yoga Studio - check it out!
