The new owners are charging outrageous prices now, and impersonal service. I brought a Cat in to have put to sleep, and cremated. When I walked in, the New Doctor (the one on the left in the picture) didn't even introduce himself, and immediately tried selling me on saving an 18 to 20 year old cat. When I walked out to pay, I was SHOCKED to see the bill was 257 dollars. Under the prior ownership a couple years earlier it was 125 for the same exact service for another Cat I had. I feel like Ive been taken advantage of. I could not find a price this high anywhere on the internet. I called two other Vet Clinics, that were 120 dollars less, and they had never heard of anyone charging that much. I will never go back to NKAH again 3 Months later,, they still have not called me or sent a postcard to say the ashes are ready for pickup. The lame excuse??? The famous typical treat you like an idiot response: We tried calling several times and left messages. Which is a flat out lie. I have a log of every incoming call over the last 3 months. They never called or left a message or sent a postcard. Good news and good service is time consuming to build up, but rewarding. The word of Bad Service travels like wildfire, and the quick buck is never a good long term solution to your business. Its too bad they've made the decision to take advantage of the local community. This clinic wont last long, but fortunately, there are others around. New Kent Animal Hospital is by Far the Worst Vet Service Ive ever experienced period. You can tell, several of the glowing reviews on this page are done by the staff. Especially the reviews from 2008. What are the chances the reviews are done on the same day or a few days apart by totally different People. They even sound like the same person.
