These People know their craft. From Music repair to sales, service, and lessons. I bought a Double Bell Euphonium at an auction some years ago. It was in horrid condition and missing the small bell. I live in New York and went to several music repair shops in my area and none could solve the "missing bell" problem. Ken Wood (one of the partners)is a world class virtuoso on the euphonium. Little did I know that he is also a gifted repair technician. He took a Blessing flugel horn bell and reshaped it (bent it) to match what the original would have been. He then took the time to play it and test it and made some modifications (improvements) that improved the intonation, beyond the horn's original capabilities, prior to beginning the overhaul. I now own a horn that is the envy of every tuba christmas and anywhere I take it. I am currently having Ken overhaul a 70's vintage Besson Imperial Euphonium. Ken and his staff are the only people I let touch my professional level instruments. Paying the shipping costs from New York to Texas is well worth it, once you see the results of their work.
