Review content:
I was referred here as I recently adopted a hamster that has overgrown teeth and is having trouble eating. I called ahead and was told, sure we can trim the teeth for $10-15 without an appt, come in after 3pm and we can take him right away.
When I arrived and signed in, they reiterated the same information again. I waited for more than an hour before they took my hamster in a back room and came right back out to tell me, sorry but we don't specialize in hamsters (even though they are a SMALL ANIMAL hospital and said they did) and in order to get his teeth trimmed, I would have to make an appointment for a later date which would cost upwards of $50. I told them I cannot wait because if the hamster could not eat, it would surely die. The assistant asked to see how bad the teeth were and when showed said, "they aren't sticking out of his mouth so it looks okay".
Anyone who knows anything about hamsters knows that overgrown teeth grow UP into the skull literally impaling the hamster, not OUT of the mouth.
As it is my hamsters teeth are cutting into it's tongue.
They are entirely UNQUALIFIED, completely UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCARING.
Do not bring your pet here if you want it to be seen as anything more than a money-generating unit by an inexperienced and unethical staff.
