Dr. Lina nd his staff failed to notify me that my mammogram had come back "with masses found in each breast" for over a month until I went in for an unrelated matter and asked about the result of my mammogram. (Early detection?) Then, after Dr. lin promised me that his office would call me "immediately" after that Monday appointment to advise me when his office had scheduled an appointment for an MRI. FRIDAY, I called to find out when this appointment was scheduled and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. I was then told they "would be faxing the report to the MRI folks in 10 minutes." That is their idea of "immediate" - 4 days later? And, if I didn't call, it would have gone into the following week! After the MRI indicated probably cancer, Dr. Lin set up an appointment for a biopsy in Indio, I found a closer doctor to where I live, which is Palm Desert and made an appointment with that doctor. I canceled the appointment in Indio and within an hour, I received a message from Dr. Lin's office informing me that they would NOT BE REFERRING me to the doctor I had found on my own as I HAD TO HAVE THE BIOPSY WITH THE DOCTOR THAT DR. LIN HAD ARRANGED FOR ME! What is the deal here? Kickbacks?! After causing me a great deal of stress due to the delay of notifying me of my mammogram results and then scheduling the MRI, Dr. Lin and his staff are compiling my stress by not allowing me to see the doctor of my choice? Why? I no longer trust Dr. Lin and his staff and I am seeking legal assistance regarding the way my health issue has been handled by these "medical professionals."
