Doctor is wonderful, staff is horribly unprofessional. on my first visit the receptionist tried to tell me that my insurance co did not cover my contact fitting or lenses. They were about 20 min from closing and she refused to call my insurance company. I had to call from my cell phone (while the receptionist slammed things around and complained that she wouldn't be going home on time), and had to put them on with her to explain that it was covered. The second strike happened this weekend. I had broken my glasses and had recently moved 40 min away and needed my Rx faxed to my new Dr's office. After 45 min of waiting, being told one person that they had sent it already, and another saying they were too busy, my Dr called the office and requested the Rx over the phone, to be followed by a fax whenever they got the time. The receptionist hung up on the Dr on three separate calls, telling her that I had to drive down and get it because they didn't have time for old patients. Not only was the staff at my new office completely appauled, but I had to pay for an entirely new exam after waiting 3 hrs for the whole ordeal to be over with. As of today (3 days later), they have still not sent the Rx.
