Businiess name:  Montgomery Plaza Liquors Inc
Review by:  Sarah A.
Review content:
Catonsville is an odd sort of place. It’s a small suburb/town but you can find top-notch retailers in almost every category. The one exception is liquor stores. Almost every shopping center has one, but none of them are particularly good if you are looking for anything beyond the most basic and common beers and wines. The best of the bunch is Montgomery Plaza Liquors in the Wal-Mart/Giant shopping center at Route 40 and Rolling Road. This isn’t saying much. The store is larger than the others in the area and has wide aisles so it’s easy to navigate. There is a decent but unremarkable selection of domestic beers (and, of course, the inevitable Budweiser and Coors and junk like that), a small selection of imported beers, and a slightly better selection of wines. They have a wide variety of hard liquor, although generally only a few choices of brands within each category. If you just need to make a quick stop to pick up drinks, this is a fine store, but if you are looking for something special or out of the ordinary, you’d do better to go farther afield.
