I visited Luby's on Mason Rd in Katy on New Years Day, hoping to get my New Year's favs. Yes, the new look is refreshing, but yes the prices went UP! My baked fish entree was about 2 inches by 2 inches! Why, I do not know, but the cabbage was saturated in oil. The black-eyed peas were very good. Though, I know they came out of can, so how can you go wrong on that? The jalepeno cornbread was great and not to mention their wonderful iced teal My bill was almost $12, NOT including the tip! I was disappointed, as I have been Luby's customer for many years and could have gone to a more upscale restaurant for close to the same price. Please shape up Luby's! USE YOUR TRIED AND TRUE RECIPES!
