Review content:
Madeline's Dahlia is a florist out of Snohomish Washington, everything about their service is unacceptable and borderline illegal. I hired Madeline's Dahlia to arrange my bridal party flowers for my wedding, during our consultation I was very clear on the fact that I wanted dark, almost black red roses, the florist said that that would be fine and got back to me with a quote for my bouquet, bridesmaids roses and boutteniares. We paid the amount if full and followed up weeks before the wedding. During the follow-up I asked if everything was fine with our order and she confirmed that it was. Well day of the wedding she delivered the flowers and to our suprise they were bright red roses! They didn't match any of our other flowers and when we asked her why she didn't use the roses I requested and paid in advance for she replied "well it would have been more money than the quote". This is my wedding day and I am already stressed enough and I couldn't believe her answer, she had a phone, she could of called me and resolved the issue and that would have been fine, instead she opted to buy cheaper roses to keep the difference. What's worse is how she "fixed" the problem, originally she charged about 10 dollars a rose, well her solution was to go to Costco and by the 2 dozen for 14 dollar roses and remake the bouquet on the spot, she still charged us her full price and argued that she corrected the mistake and should charge the same. Well I am sorry but buying CHEAPER roses from Costco and charging us your full-florist price is unethical and a horrible business practice. When I confronted her about the cost issue she said she would "think" about giving a partial refund. Well her refund was 50 bucks of the 400 dollars paid. This was a very unproffessional and young florist whom needs more experience in business practices and ethics, we actually considered taking her to small claims court but decided that it wasn't worth the effort. If you would like stress-free flowers I recommend that you go else-where!
