Choosing a mechanic is really scary. It's like choosing a doctor for your baby, except that he's a 99 Passat. I am very distrustful of most mechanics, having heard horror stories of overcharging and mis-diagnoses.
So when my car started madly shuddering, I thought "What to do? What to do?!" On a suggestion, I took my car to Precision Auto Repair.
This family's got the recipe for success; they are friendly, efficient, honest, and helpful. I never felt pressured to do anything with my car. In fact, they told me exactly which items were actually necessary and which were just cosmetic changes.
