When we were planning our first family vacation outside the United States, I decided I'd better go through a travel agent and was recommended Best Ways from a friend.
In my initial call, I gave the agent several locations that I thought we'd be interested in and she told me she'd call me back within 24 hours.
I did receive a call the next day and was given several great options. We chose one and bought the travel insurance that went with our package.
During the planning there were several terrorist attacks and I kept calling asking if we should cancel our trip. The agent was very gracious in dealing with me and was able to calm me down and make our vacation go off without a hitch.
Because we'd purchased the insurance and the rates went down for our trip, our agent kept tabs of the cost and we ended up getting almost half of our initial fee back.
If they can make a panicky person like me have a great trip, they can help you plan a great vacation.
