We had an unfortunate accident with a deer and our car. We were told by our insurance company that Grayson Motors was a repair shop that could fix our car. Great, we took it in and were told it would be a few days. Finally, a few days later, we got a call that it was all fixed and ready for pick up. We arrived to pick up the car and noticed that there were marks in the brand new paint job. We were told that was from the old paint that was on there and there was nothing they could do. The problem is, they replaced that part entirely so there was no old paint. This was a brand new part, not our old car that had been repaired. It was just a bad paint job. I started to really go over the car at this point. I noticed something odd. On the back fender where the insignia in the pin stripe was supposed to be, it was missing. Also, the pin striping was wider than it used to be and it was thicker (meaning there was a layer underneath). Instead of taking off the old striping they just placed wider striping over the old and only on one side. So the car didn't match from passenger side to driver side. They also just left off the insignia on the drivers side. They ALSO cut the pin striping too short and the door wasn't level. When you opened the door it dropped. We told them no way we were taking this home, to which we were told "well it will never look brand new". This was not a brand new issue, but a quality issue. After a rental car, that they had to pay for, three visits to the shop to force them to do their job and far too long without our car, we were able to pick up a fairly good repaired car.
