I rate this restaurant a 4.5. I was raised in Chicago just outside of an Italian neighborhood. I would always walk a couple of blocks and visit the Italian restaurants there. After moving to Michigan, Villa Venafro restaurant is the only place where the quality of food compares to what I had in Chicago. Obviously this lady that wrote that the food was just average must have burned off some tastebuds and the last restaurant she went to. Great Food, Great Service, and Highly recommended.
