Just because an 80's radio station is sponsoring a night at Mermaid, don't go expecting 80's music. You get 99% rap. So if you don't want the vulgarities and banging that go with that type of music, don't go here. If you like rap, going is a must. Waitstaff was always there when needed, all the staff had pleasant attitude. If you don't smoke, you will by the end of the night, because the place gets filled with the haze from cigarettes. It is packed, and hoppin'. I like the dress code, dress to impress.
