Review content:
This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with the family. It is a beautiful forest with hiking trails all through it, and for people who don't want to rough it, there is a boardwalk that is about half a mile long. It is really a way to just get away from it all for a while and reconnect with nature. The birds and the deer are really cool! You can walk all the way down to the train tracks by the Missouri river. It is really relaxing. There is a nice gift shop in the main building that is not too pricey, and the staff is very helpful. There are also many special events there throughout the year such as a spring festival and a water sports event. Our kids love it!
