Review content:
THE BEST AMERICAN-STYLE CHINESE IN BALTIMORE COUNTY!! Absolutely. Food is high quailty- meat is always good- no flabby processed-chicken triangles like so many other places; sauces are redolent of fermented black beans, real Kikkoman-style soy sauce, ginger, real fresh garlic- no flabby brown paste like too many other places!!
They serve really, really good Chinese!
It is a carry-out, but there are booths from when it was a Hong Kong noodle place many, many years ago; you can eat in, but there is no true table service. Drinks are from a soda case behind cash register; no hot tea! Although, as a regular for years, the chef has sometimes shared theirs with me!- it would be nice to have regular hot tea service since you can eat in.
All around awesome place- better than any sit-down Chinese I've been to in years. (Barring Cafe Zen, down the road, but they serve a less-Americanized style Chinese; Mandarin Taste is were you go when you want classic American-style Chinese done in the top of its form!).
Pros: Unique, Flavorful sauces; High quality Ingredients
Cons: Hot tea not regular offering!
