Review content:
Masa's Sushi is a find. It is on San Antonio, right next to the liquor store in a little strip mall. It is rather unpretentious but will surprise you. The restaurant is rather small with many booths and a long string of tables. I choose the booth every time.
One of the surprises, is the fried oysters. I tried this by accident and just love them. Their seaweed salad is very good, not too fishy.
I think that this sushi is one of the best in the area.
They have many specialty rolls that seem to intrigue people but I love there regular sushi. It is fresh and, if cooked, like the unagi and tomago, cooked perfectly. I especially like their Nigiri Deluxe Sushi plate. You have a choice of the best sushi and it seems to be just enough for one person....at just $11.00 (I always ask for the California roll to be real crab and the adds a couple of dollars). I would also recommend the goyoza, the spider roll and the "rock and roll" roll.
The dinners are also good and filling. If you are a wine drinker, this will be a disappointment. They carry many types of sake but only one house chardonnay etc.
