Businiess name:  Green Valley Hand Car Wash
Review by:  Tara L.
Review content:
I had such bad service here that I feel the need to post this on as many review sites as possible. Watch out for this place! I just moved to Stephanie & 215, and was glad to see Green Valley Hand Car Wash was very near my home. When I pulled up, I asked for the $19.95 Gold wash. The man I talked to asked me if I wanted an interior or exterior vinyl coating, and I said interior. I also told him that I had some trash in the back seat (empty water bottles and wrappers; OBVIOUS trash), and asked if I needed to throw it away myself, or if they would do it. He said no problem, they would throw away. As I went to sit inside to wait, a man ran up to me and asked me if I was aware of the large chip in my windshield. As I had just had my windshield replced about 5 months ago, I became suspicious instantly. I asked him to please show me the chip and he actually pointed to a tiny little spot on my window and started his whole spiel on how it would eventually turn into a big crack, and that the integrity of the windshield has diminished blah blah blah. He said it would be no cost to me, and that my insurance would cover it. I reached over and began picking at the "chip," and lo and behold it came OFF. It was bird poop or bug guts, and he tried to make it seem like a chip! He had nothing to say after that. As I sat inside and waited for my car, I saw three people ushered in and scammed by the windshield people (called American Auto Glass). They would actually call the insurance company of the person, tell them what service was going to be done to the car, and then hand over the phone to the person for them to give their approval. I noticed that the windshield guy was approaching almost all females and people aged over 60. What scum. To top it all off, no one announced that my car was done, so I just sat there waiting for over 1/2 an hour. I finally got up and went outside, and my car is just sitting in the lot waiting. It took them another 5 minutes to figure out where my keys were. When I got in my car, all the trash was still in the back seat just as I had left it! There definitely wasn't any "interior vinyl coating" used. They had not cleaned under the front seats AT ALL. The doors, air vents, and and other small things inside had not even been cleaned. The wheel wells had not been washed and detailed and the undercarriage was still filthy. By this time I just wanted to get as far away from this shoddy place as possible. BUYER BEWARE. Check out this link I found to an article that talks about how windshield repair scams are becoming very frequent (or you can just google windshield repair scams). It sounds just like this place.... http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2004/08/10/44850.htm
