Review content:
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.
I tried to purchase a new Honda Accord from Klein because of their location.
The salesman committed in writing to a price via email and I accepted the deal in writing. Shortly thereafter a new email appeared that stated that the transaction now needed to include some dealer installed options which increased the drive-out price. When I questioned the new transaction and asked to have the dealer installed options removed – a 10 minute process - another email arrived from the sales manager, attacking my character and honesty. Apparently a commitment is not really a commitment.
A follow up phone call from me to the sales manager was not helpful, with the sales manager not listening and simply screaming into the telephone.
Yet another flaming email followed from the sales manager.
Frankly this is not the type of approach that anyone should tolerate with a car dealership.
Management begins with the dealership owners, and the Klein owners are clearly encouraging this type of behavour. If the Klein sales manager had been my employee, he would have been fired on the spot.
There are excellent Honda dealers around Seattle. I was able to get a fair deal with no insults or gamesmanship right down the road.
