This no frills, yet very hip salon! Found it on Citysearch as I was looking for a new salon. Of course, I was a little nervous, as, I was looking for an entirely new style. (Pretty gutsy of me.) Anyway, I'm a bit leary of writing this review, as I'm afraid if this salon becomes more popular, I'll never get in when I need to. SO, my 1st experience with Modern Mia Salon was with Yasmeen. She is more than amazing!!!!!!!!!! She is so very cool, and is amazingly talented. We discussed my new color and what method we were going to use. In detail, she talked about the best color choices and methods........... and she told me why she recommended these. Then, onto the style. I told her what I was looking for and my "lack of" styling abilities.......... and she performed a freaking miracle!!! Not only do I love it (still............ after 2 weeks) but I have never received so many compliments from both female and male co-workers and friends. It looks great and works for me in all ways!! Yasmeen didn't rush with her service. She took the time to explain everything before, during and after. And, didn't try to push products down my throat. Yasmeen is my new hairdresser!!!!! The prices and ambiance are great!!!!
