Review content:
Over the course of one bored summer, I frequented the Peace A Pizza in Newark, DE, usually after a visit to the Blue Hen comic shop or some other place. It was small, quaint, and had good music (to me, anyway). It was/is a nice place where I would read the books I'd bought, sketch or write to pass the time. Of course this place, as a restaurant, wouldn't be worth hanging around if it didn't have good food at good prices, which brings me to my next point.
For little more than $6, I would get a slice of gourmet pizza, a breadstick and a drink (w/ free refills). Most other places (besides fast food) will hardly give me a decent sandwich for that kind of money. Value is what made me a regular to this pizzeria. The toppings for the gourmet pizzas are diverse and eclectic; odds are there's a couple pizzas here that you've never tried before, but absolutely should. There's also strombolis and salads, but I stick mostly to the pie.
For good value, variety and atmosphere, I give this a hearty recommendation.
Dine In/Take Out/Delivery are all available. Parking is limited, but that's generally how it is all over Newark.
