Businiess name:  Skate Queen

I don't appreciate the meant-to-be-funny remarks about this rink (see other post if it's still there) Be glad you have a decent place to skate! We relo'd. to a much smaller town and the rink here went out of business. Overhead is HIGH (especially insurance w/sue-happy public these days) and people have become almost too lazy (IMO) to go skate--so there isn't much impetus to open a skating rink. I think this rink is fine. It may not be huge, but it's pretty clean and the floor is a good, even skate-able surface. The people who run it are extremely kind and good. Weatherford's lucky to have this and people should be glad and support it. Most kids I see could use the exercise, too. Oh and their parents!!! too!!! (I always skate w/my kids as I loved to skate when I was their age.) Wish we had a rink here-even a modest one.
