if you have no insurance John Muir Hospital inflates your bill over 600% . The billing department is the lowest of low. Even with legal help it is a slow and painful journey down a blind ally. Try to negotiate with what appears to be a massive bureaucracy.
Your stay will cost you an unbelievable $35,000 per day. Even if you ask for a cost estimate before hand you will be provided with little or no information about the bill. it comes in the mail 2 days after being discharged. I would rather die than set food in John Muir Hospital again.
If you have great , full coverage medical insurance , be there guest ! If you are one of the 8 million uninsured in California be warned . Your life will never be the same.
