My daughter (16) had brain surgery in June 06'. After that she could drive in 6months. We had never purchased a used car before but Amber fell in love a 2006 Honda Accord that was in the lot. We wanted to get her a new car but she just had to have the Honda. Since we had very high expectations of Mall of Ga Toyota we thought we had nothing to worry about. This would be our 5th purchase here and we had referred two complete sales and more referrals to the dealership. Mall of Ga Toyota was high on my list of great business with high standards. Cindy Autry was like a mom to my daughter when buying her car. Dennis Wolcott, who is now at Atlanta Toyota, was someone you could trust. Now everything has changed!!!! MY EXPERIENCE WITH MALL OF GA USED CARS!!!!! Like I said before, when purchasing a car from Mall of Ga Toyota, I did not think I would have to worry about anything, they would take care of me. I was very wrong! Six months after we had the car a friend of my backed into her front right side of the car. We took the car and had it repaired. When the repair was finished the paint & body let me know that I needed to get the front left side of the car checked out. It was out of alignment and eating the tires. The tires were 6months old and ruined. We took it back to and they were nice about it saying they would go ahead and fix the problem, we would only have to pay for parts and we bought the tires. Then they went on to tell me the car would never be perfect because something was bent or warped on the front left side. They wanted me to get the insurance from where my daughters friend bumped the car on the right to add it into the claim but they would not do that because they checked it out and said it was not due to the bump on the right side. Now seven months later, 18,000 oweing on the car, the tires are ruining again, the car drives awful, and the paint is starting to chip seeing another color under it. I pulled CarFax (which I should have done before, but trusted Mall of Ga Toyota) The car was in an accident by the first owner on the FRONT LEFT SIDE. That is where all of the trouble is, that is where they replaced a control arm and two other vital pieces around the tire and charged me for parts only. Now they say they don't have the alignment paper because they did this out of courtesy. It states on CarFax that they did this alignment. I even have the records where this car was fixed after the accident from the Acura dealer he took it to for repairs, the person there said this was unbelievable. I have dug up all of this information in three days, I have plans to get more. I will get legal advice, even though when signing for these used cars they have certain areas to protect them from this sort of thing which I could understand if it were minor things. I did speak with Bob KIng on May 5th and after going over everything I asked him " Are you saying there is absolutely nothing you can do for me" and he said "Not at this time" and walked off. In my eyes that is not a good sales manager. If I were in the same position I would have tried to see if there was anything to make the customer, even if it were something small. I would have at least thought he would have tried to get me out of the car and into another one, isn't that what the term 'sales" is about? I was thinking that maybe we could get into a different car that is secure instead of paying 18 to 20 thousand for a car that will never be 100%. Everyone tells me just to sell the car. I would never do that, I will trade the car in, let them know the whole before I would sell to an innocent person not knowing what they are getting into. There will be more to this so if you would like to follow up or would like to back me up in this situation please reach me at: acvernon@signaturemanagement.com I know you can't believe everything you see or hear so I have all of the paperwork to back me up in this situation and would be happy to share what I have so far. Bob King and John Boot has seen what I have so far as of Friday, May 5th. I will continue to find all items related to this car and the previous owner until all of my options are. THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!
