Review content:
I read in dismay what Ms. C wrote about Dr. Browning.
To put it bluntly she gave Dr. Browning bad marks for having the wisdom and fortitude to refer her son to somebody who would not just hold him down and scare him emotionally against dentists for the rest of his life.
Ms. C said it herself "he has a great fear of doctors, etc". Such a child needs sedation for work in order not to make them more afraid. . Not all dentists have the license that is needed for sedation. A pedodontist is board certified in this area.
As far as her husband is concerned we have specialists called oral surgeons whose expertise is taking out "difficult teeth".
We are fortunate in dentistry to have specialists who take care of DIFFICULT situations.
Unfortunately there are few dentists out there that would have been too greedy and would have just held her son down. And would have taken out a tooth on her husband that they should not have even though he would have gone through a lot of pain as a result.
Ms. C should be grateful to Dr. Browning for being honest and having her family's best interest at heart instead of his wallet.
I cannot let this woman say bad things about this dentist. For those that do not know he has been voted five years in a year row ,one of Oklahoma's top dentists.
He has been selected by his peers as one of the top dentists in Oklahoma that they would send a family member to. That is quite an honor to be voted by ones peers to this level. For our competition gets to see all our dental work. The average patient really does not know how good their dental work is. They only know what they experience. And that is pain or absence of pain.
Wewoka be glad that you have such a caring and unselfish dentist in your town. One who takes the best possible care of his patients. And especially one who knows when to refer difficult patients.
