Businiess name:  Randy's Lawn Mower Repair
Review by:  Linda D.
Review content:
I've read the other reviews and yes, the price is a little higher but you get what you pay for. [Or perhaps, the proper wording is that you do NOT get what you don't pay for at a discount store. Such as service, information, and follow-up assistance.] I bought my first mower at Randy's when I moved back to Greenfield in 1990 and that one was still working when my son sold his house and moved to an apartment 4 years ago. [I'd since upgraded to one that was a little better for cutting grass on a hill and that one is still mowing well with no more than routine maintenance.] Randy is extremely knowledgeable about what type of mower is best for the type of cutting you'll be doing and his advice on the proper mower has paid off as we've only purchased two mowers and two tractors since 1990. When our first tractor failed and parts were unavailable, he managed to manufacture a fix that kept it going another two years until we were ready to upgrade to a tractor with more horsepower. I've purchased mowers from discount stores and I've had more than a few cheap tractors. I don't think any of those mowers lasted longer than 4 years and the tractors were junk. As long as Randy is in business, I will NOT be buying mowers and tractors from discount stores again. I figure I'm saving money in the long run.
