Review content:
A pear shaped side diamond fell out of a ring that Joseph Doubet made for me 8 years ago. I brought the ring back to have the lost diamond replaced and the platinum prongs repaired. When I picked up the ring I was unhappy because the new diamond was and did not match the the original pear shaped diamond on the other side of my center stone. The setting was also different. After much arguing, they took the ring back to look at it. A week later, they called and said "You were right" and that they had fixed it. It turned out that they said the prongs were sent incorrectly on the new diamond and that was why it looked and "bad". Although I was still not happy with the quality of the new diamond I took the ring. Four days later the new prong broke and I lost the diamond again. (I don't remember hitting the diamond, I just looked down and it was missing again). Although the owner originally acted shocked and told me that the prongs were too thin, after keeping my ring for 2 weeks they returned it and told me that it was not their fault. At every turn, I was treated disrespectfully and as though I was ignorant. I warn anyone against dealing with these jewelers. The diamond they sold me was not of the quality I paid for, the workmanship was obviously shoddy and the owner and salesman I dealt with were rude and unprofessional
