I just recently was in contact with one of the owners/developers of MyAdScape.com If you haven't already heard of them, then now is the time! It is the newest way to help revitalize New England. The owners are real young entrepreneurs and I think that we can learn quite a bit from both of them. They are trying to attract people from all over the United States to come visit New England.
Their business works by advertising other companies/businesses/organizations in New England. They advertise with the companies logos as advertisement and attach links to those businesses on a big grid! The site also ranks all of the advertisements by how many times each of the organizations were viewed. The site includes its own blog where users can interact with the owners and post whatever they feel is appropriate! The site aims at helping New England...get back into being a hot spot! The owners want to help even the smallest businesses get some recognition! They are willing to help any company in New England...no matter the size!
I was able to find a web-development company in RI through their website, and it actually was a big help to me!
As I mentioned before, I had the pleasure of talking with David Peterson(Co-owner at MyAdScape.com) He is a very talented young individual with lots of charisma and motivation.
David had informed me that he and his business partner are trying to put themselves through college from the money they hope to generate through this business. They are also looking at creating a life long..relationship with its business partners.
If I didn't mention it already, they plan on advertising each and every single company/business that works with them for a "lifetime" as David quoted it.
These individuals seem to be quite inspiring! Seriously, you need to check them out if you own a business/restaurant/club/attraction! They are more than willing to sit down and help you or talk with you!
