Review content:
We tried to buy a Honda from Herb Chambers. It was an absolute NIGHTMARE. We were quoted one price over the phone and when we arrived at the dealership to sign the papers, the price was suddenly much, much more money. We were told several stories about why over the course of the TWO HOURS we spent trying to buy a car: we were told the salesperson had made a mistake, we were told he thought we were asking about a different car, and then we were accused of LYING about the originally agreed-upon price.
As I've been reading online and talking to other people, our experience with Herb Chambers was no unusual: they will often make a "mistake" and try and charge you more for the car when you finally come in to buy. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP. FIND A REPUTABLE DEALER AND AVOID HERB CHAMBERS.
