What has happened to Avanti Pizza? I have been happily going to Avanti Pizza in Menlo Park for years...However, last evening , after waiting for one hour to receive my pizza...It was burnid to a crisp!
The bottom was actually black....the top of the crust was dark brown and hard...I was able to peel off a few pieces of salami and some cheese....The rest went into the garbage...
When I called today, thinking it was just a sad mistake, I was surprised at the attitude...It was escentially, MY FAULT for ordering such a thin crust! And I should have reported immediately last evening (I was put on hold and was too mad to keep trying) I did call today for a refund....after a long list of excuses...Did I order more than one topping....? that would cause it to burn as the oven has only one temp. setting, etc., etc...I felt like I had to apolgize for their mistake...Finally, I could get a STORE CREDIT....instead of a refund on the pizza !!!(the salad was fine) Why would I want a store credit?
I DO NOT WANT TO EVER EAT AVANTI PIZZA AGAIN!!! There are many places with good pizza and good manners and business attitude!
