Review content:
A room for two beds booked and confirned online for two nights.
The second night the key card would not work. They had mistakenly
resold our room in error. They had removed our belongings. I am 63
and a diabetic and was stuck outside about 2 hours while they looked
for our belongings. There were no more 2 bed rooms. They were then
sold out. They promised to send our beliongings to us. They did not.
They did not call us as promised if they could not locate our stuff. Some
unknown person had removed the note taped to the wall with our phone
number on it. At that point I no longer believed any thing they said. Good
grief, I know they had our phone number in their computer system that
sent us the confirmation for a room for two nights. Plus it was also in
the sign in cArd you sign to get your key card. They control the key cards.
They cannot be duplicated by a previous user that might enter your room to steal something
to steal something. I know they did not throw away the two 'Roper' brand western
western shirts that were worn 1 time only (I often take new clothing for a
trip), or the like new Leatherman Multipurpose Tool. They were together
in a new bag from Walgreens a few miles north. They might have thrown
away the dirty clothes at the bottom. We are glad we did not leave our
expensive camers there. It was not broken into. They cleaned it to resell
it. They will not even let us know who the owner of the Bakersfield units
are. I had used them for 50 years. I will not trust them again. I asked only $150 for
$150 for the things they took and kept. They as policy will do nothing. I
no longer trust Motel Six at all. It was a nightmare. We had to leave at
4 am that morning for an early flight out and we live on another state
sp they are safe from us.
