I relocated earlier this year and was desperately seeking a new & more local hairstylist. Previously, I had used a very famous stlyist in NYC and I had a high level of trust with him. But, between my move and his travel schedule, we could not coordinate getting together. I was starting to look like a shaggy dog!
It was a complete FLUKE that I walked into Salon Sophisticates. I had brought my 2 show cats to a new groomer in the same shopping center (*******DO NOT USE LAURA's PET SPA---they are totally incompetent when it comes to handling cats*********)
While waiting for my "girls" to have their grooming (which never happened) I saw Salon Sophisticates and decided to take a chance. I was a bit put off at first because I'm used to a very upscale salon setting in NYC. HOWEVER, once I started speaking with CAMI, she put me at ease and made me feel like she would treat me the same way she treats her best friend.
Even though she is quite unassuming, CAMI is VERY talented. She gave me a fabulous style and I was thrilled! On top of that, the fee was about 5 times cheaper than what I had been paying in NYC.
When I had seen my colorist in Princeton, she also was very impressed with my cut and continued to comment on what a superb job was done.
Now, I use CAMI for everything! I trust her implicitly and today, I'm going back to get a bit more dramatic style. I can't wait!
I believe all the staff there are just as talented; however, my experience with CAMI has been the best!
