Review content:
My partner and I recently transferred home locations from Seattle to Renton. Oddly enough both of us, at separate times, have lived in Renton before so it was no surprise that Michael knew this restaurant well from years ago. He loves Vince's for the puttanesca, his favorite Italian dish, which isn't on every Italian restaurant's menu. Since we ate here with friends we learned that one in the other couple also is a puttanesca fan. Who knew? I think both the men were happy but I could tell our friend may have had higher expectations given Michael's description.
Either way, me and the other woman both ended up ordering the same meal which was a pasta primavera - the special that day. The penne was done very well (meaning, it was good not "well done" as in overcooked) and the amount of vegetables was impressive - as was the level of garlic in the simple sauce. Considering their wine prices are extremely reasonable and the cost of the meals were as well - we were pretty happy. Throw in that they also accept the Passport card (2 for 1 entrees) we walked out feeling satisfied and with leftovers for lunch the next day. A great deal!
