Review content:
I recently sought out this place for a late lunch - it's in the lower level, so it's a bit dark. The owners were expanding the café to the south, as well as adding some decorative painting to the ceiling, which should help improve the ambiance.
The lunch menu was quite diverse, with dishes in the $6-$10 range. Most were similar to Indian dishes I have tried. We ended up with a Thali vegetarian sampler and a meat (chicken and lamb) sampler. The Naan is a bit crisper than the Indian variety, and the chicken on the sampler was good but a bit dry.
The Strawberry Lassi drink was good, and a nice portion for the $2.75 price. Mango and banana flavors were also available.
Service was great, I'm looking forward to exploring their lunch menu again.
