Review content:
I had trained in an another dojo for over 8 years and then moved to Bothell. I didn't train for awhile for various reasons but recently decided to get back into karate. I observed a class at Evergreen Karate and was impressed with the family atmosphere and the emphasis on karate as a way of life, not just a physical skill. As I am quickly approaching 50 years of age, I was not interested in getting beat up any more. At Evergreen, safety is paramount and physical contact is monitored so that it is safe.
Everyone in the classes as well as the Sensei and her husband treat all newcomers as another member of the Evergreen family. I would highly recommend this dojo to any newcomer to karate as well as anyone who has practiced the martial arts in the past!
