So let me play out the scene, 25th Birthday dinner for a friend with 25 or so people (instant 20% gratuity). We got there at 8:30 and ordered at around 9pm. The waitress didn't give the birthday girl a chance to get involved in a conversation, she asked her a question every 5 min. (I don't know, but it seemed that way) She was constantly rushing us through this meal. The waiter for the other table was on house arrest. I know this because he showed the entire table his ankle monitor (wtf is that about?). Oh yeah, he doesn't really care about carding people for drinks, he did ask though. So instant 20% on 25+ people and we were there only business, yet we were rushed through every part of the meal. Oh yeah, the male waiter had my wife get up to deliver a drink to her. He couldn't figure out how to go around the table.
So the food was okay. I'd give them a 6 out of 10 for the food. One more part that I thought was funny. This is supposed to be fine dining, yet they have advertisments between their linnens and the glass covers. I expect this in a mom and pop breakfast joint, not a place like this.
If you are in the area and everything else is packed, Havey's is a place where you can get Okay food from a un-trained wait staff.
