Review content:
The Court Jester in Freehold Borough is a fine restaurant and local "sports bar."
When you first walk in, you are greeted by a large bar area surrounded with televisions, bar stools and liquor. I dined in the restaurant section though.
The food is usually delicious. I love the house salads they have there because it not only has the usual lettuce/tomato fare, but they throw in some peas, carrots, corn niblets, and a little cheese making it very unique. Aside from that, the entrees aim to please.
Another unique thing is that the soft drinks are enourmous. Anytime I would order water or seltzer, or anything else for that matter, they are served in these oversized glasses. I refer to them as "buckets" they are so big.
My only gripe with the Court Jester is that the menu doesn't have a big variety (but it isn't that small either), and the spacing is usually very cramped, especially on the far back side of the restaurant.
I do recommend the Court Jester however. I do hope you like it, and I think you will.
