Review content:
We stayed at the Baymont Inn (formerly Howard Johnson) in Elizabethtown, KY.
I have booked this hotel months ahead under the Howard Johnson's name. By the time my vacation rolled around it had changed hands and name to Baymont Inn.
What a wonderful surprise!
This property was immaculate. Rooms were spotless and comfy cozy. Complete with coffee maker, ironing board, blow dryer.
Very nice appointed rooms.
The lobby was AMAZING! It was done in a Middle Eastern decor with big thick comfy leather sofas, hand woven Persian carpets, and a water fountain. Thought this to be a very lovely sight in a Redneck hick town.
( Yes, E'town is Redneck, I once lived there for many years, and it is still "Good Ol' Boy country)
Will be staying here in the future when I go back to visit relatives who have remained behind.
Great hotel, great value for money!
P.S. Be sure to have them REMOVE the in-room safe charge if you do not use the safe. More hotels are sliding in this $1.00 - $2.00 fee. In this case, the fee is $1.50
