I found Loan America on www.bythezip.com . When I went in, I think they thought I was a salesman. Not a big deal, I am a salesman. I have been self employed for years. In fact it kind of worked to my advantage. The person that came out to greet me was Ralph Papa, I think he’s the owner or president or something. In any case he was the honcho. I told him about my situation... Self employed....I write everything off that I can...My tax return show little income....but I want to buy a house. Ralph helped me to relax, pulled my “not so perfect credit”, made some suggestion. He said something like, “After 30+ years, I have learned that if it is possible, I can get it done.” I wound up with a great program, at a great rate, with great terms. 90 days ago, I didn’t know I could buy the house I wanted in this market; now I am in it.
