Fashion After Passion moved to a new location: 1205 Lincoln Ave, still in Alameda. They retained the same phone number.
The beautiful new space is a little smaller, but airy and light, and much quieter than Webster St. The whole ambiance is much improved. With the smaller space, she has opted to reduce the childrens' clothing inventory, so there will only be toddler clothes (up to about 24 months) once all the 'big kid' clothes have moved off the sale racks.
The owner, Jaye, is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all things maternity and baby, but she really shines with bra fittings.Even though she's moved, Jaye is still an expert bra fitter, and has the wide selection so crucial to pregnant and nursing women, so that she can fit you with the best bra for your needs, not just the closest fit. Most women don't wear the right size anyway, but when going through the changes of pregnancy and nursing, it's critical to have the right bra. Jaye will make sure you have it, and she'll keep your stats on file so that you can get it again. She will also check in to see what's changed so that you are re-fitted when you come in with your next bun in the oven. (Chances are, you shouldn't be wearing the same bra!)
All in all, Fashion After Passion is a local independent business well worth supporting!
