My husband and I ate dinner at Rasoi on June 8th, 2007. We picked the restaurant at random, because it wasn't too crowded and the menu in the window appealed to us. I'm surprised to read some of the reviews below; maybe things have changed in the meantime. We received excellent service: the waiters were friendly and the food arrived quickly. I had chicken tikka masala and my husband had lamb rogan josh. Both were delicious. (We've dined at other Indian restaurants in NYC and Philadelphia, and this was better than nearly every other Indian food we've tried.) The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and relaxing, and yet we had no trouble getting our check when we needed to leave in order to catch a movie. We'll definitely return to Rasoi now that we know about it.
