If you are thinking of beginning to search for your roots this is a very good place to begin. Not only is the Library itself a treasure trove of information but by becoming a member you also have access to their on line site.
They also are a family research center which means they can order films from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
Also your membership gives you access to local records in town halls and archives.
