Pied Piper Pizza

Review content:
After reading the other reviews, I think the problem people have with Pied Piper is the fact that most people have never had great pizza. They are used to the crap that is put out by all the other major pizza chains. This pizza is simply some of the best pizza you will taste. If you like "flying pie" in Portland, you'll love Pied Piper. Loads of fresh toppings, home made crust. I would say that while the take-out pizza is great, for some reason the buffet they offer is not good. We love their pizza and went to the buffet because it was free for young kids, I would not recommend it. It was like eating different pizza. I think they allow it to sit out too long. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, the place is stuck in the seventies with the wood paneled walls, and older furnishings. It does have a good, laid back, family feel to the place. However, the pizza makes up for any deficiencies in atmosphere. Just remember, "no buffet"
