We found this restaurant two years ago and make sure we eat there at least once on every visit. This is a very English feeling place with a large fireplace and low wooden beams. The menu is typical for the area, heavy on seafood but also offering burgers and sandwiches. The chowder of course is excellent. What keeps us coming back however are to die for desserts. The schneeball is an ice cream treat rolled in toasted coconut and the cherry crisp is worth driving there from Ct to eat. Sunday brunch is also great. Perfection is however marred by service that can be stellar one time and bordering on horrific the next. You never know what you will get but we find the food even worth the long waits.
