I keep seeing banners rating Zoots the top rated dry cleaner in VA Beach, but my experience with them has been awful. The first time I dropped off clothes, when I came back on the pick up date to get them, they said they weren't in yet and to come back the next day. The next day I came back and they still weren't there, and they told me my clothes had accidently been sent to Newport News and they would make sure they were there the next day. Okay, I'm easy, things happen. However, I came back on 2 more consecutive days, for a total of 4 days now, and each time they were still not there and I was told to come back the next day. By this time, I was pretty fed up and told the girl I would appreciate her making a call and finding out where my clothes were and to give me a call when they did come in as I was tired of coming in day after day. She was less than accomodating. I then emailed customer service through their website and never got a response. 3 days later Zoots finally called and had my clothes. Now for the price...Zoots is ridiculously expensive. Yes, I know they are environmentally friendly and all, but for 4 pieces (3 shirts and one long dress) I paid over $50. That's insane.
For some idiotic reason, I decided to give them another shot, figuring it might have been a fluke. I took an evening dress in, and after paying the ridiculously high rate yet again, I got the dress back and it looked like they hadn't even cleaned it, nor did it look like it had been pressed very well. The skirt of it was all wrinkly at the bottom and it just overall looked like crap. I'll never use Zoots again, twice was more than enough for me. I would give it zero stars, but I had to give it one for the post to be published.
