Businiess name:  Northport Baptist Church
Review by:  Ann S.
Review content:
Northport Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church that has approximately 1000 people attending. There are 3 services - 7PM on Saturday evening and 9 and 11AM on Sunday morning. The music is more contemporary and the worship is lively but certainly not over the top. Pastor Ayars is a great preacher and preaches straight from the Word of God, usually in series of messages that tie together. There is a huge, awesome youth group that is very active with their own worship team and meetings on Wednesday and Friday nights with an open cafe afterwards. There are support groups for divorce recovery, substance and alcohol abuse, cancer support and for parents of special needs kids. Northport is also a 'cell' curch - cells are small groups that meet in the home and really bring church to a personal level. Come on over to check us out!
